Satisfying Weeknight Pasta
This recipe is a continuation of my series of easy weeknight, fast yet good food. It's easy to take this base recipe and jazz it up to create something great. But as it stands its good food fast and easy as is. There are many options to up the flavor. For instance add in dried Italian herbs simmer phase. Or add fresh chopped garlic about a minute before deglazing. This is a great base to expand on.

Leveled Up Grilled Cheese
The humble grilled cheese can be leveled up with a few tricks. There are two simple tricks that make this an obvious upgrade. The mayo creates the perfect crust, while the mustard mixes perfectly with the cheese. Consider adding onions, tomato slices, or salsa for even more complexity.

Poor Man's Asian Style Noodles
This recipe is great for college kids or anyone wanting to get top notch taste on a very cheap budget. The peanut butter clings to the noodles coating it with the surprisingly rich mix of flavors. The meal takes scantly longer than it does to boil the noodles. Book mark this one for when need it.

Easy Morning Breakfast Burrito
This burrito is great when you don't have much time but want something warm. Packed with protein and made with regular ingredients you have lying around. The hot sauce does some heavy lifting so pick one you like. I went with Cholula chili garlic.

Flavorful Rice
Too many people simple dump rice in water and rely on something else to bring the flavor. Follow this recipe to make rice so good you can eat it on it's own (but you don't have too!). Any time you're using water it's a lost opportunity to get some flavor in. This recipe assumes you are using a pot on the stove, but a pressure cooker works great too. Dry ingredients are fine as we take advantage of the simmering rice requires to infuse the water with spices, which the rice incorporates.

Fresh Basil Pesto
This recipe is fast and easy. No baking required to have pesto with full flavor. This recipe is also very flexible. A bit more or less of the cheese, basil, nuts or lemon juice won't ruin the recipe, you may find you like it more. I do recommend you keep the ingredients higher quality. Fresh basil is a must and you'll notice the difference between good or bad olive oil.
