These tasty, soft gingerbread like cookies are a family favorite.

Instructions

  1. Mix shortening, sugar and molasses together.
  2. Add the eggs and continue mixing.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix them all.
  4. Form into balls roll in sugar to coat.
  5. Place on a pan and press a little on each to flatten them.
  6. Bake at 350F for 10 to 15 minutes.
