Gingersnaps
These tasty, soft gingerbread like cookies are a family favorite.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups Shortening
- 2 cups Sugar
- 0.25 cups Molasses
- 2 whole Eggs
- 4 cups Flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp ginger
Instructions
- Mix shortening, sugar and molasses together.
- Add the eggs and continue mixing.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix them all.
- Form into balls roll in sugar to coat.
- Place on a pan and press a little on each to flatten them.
- Bake at 350F for 10 to 15 minutes.
