Harring Kaka

This was a strange recipe we found while going through an old collection. It seems to be similar to Swedish Tunnbröd or Norwegian Flatbrød.

Instructions

  1. Mix eggs, buttermilk, salt and sugar together.
  2. Mix baking soda with half the flour and add it to the mixture.
  3. Add flour until the mixture is soft and doughy.
  4. Sprinkle flour on a flat surface.
  5. Make the dough into balls and roll out on the floured surface, very thin.
  6. Bake on a cookie sheet at 400F until lightly brown and crisp.
