Italian Meatballs
Although Minnesota isn't the first place you think of when you think Italian, we have our own beloved version. Simple to make, great with a red sauce, or on their own.
Ingredients
- 1 lbs Ground beef
- 0.5 cups Italian breadcrumbs
- 0.25 cups Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 2 cloves Garlic, diced
- 0.5 Small onion, diced
- 1 tbsp Rosemary
- 1 tbsp Parsley
- 1 tbsp Basil
- 1 whole egg, beaten
- 0.5 tsp Salt & pepper
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Form into balls.
- Bring a cast iron skillet up to a medium-high heat. Add in some butter or an oil that can handle high temperatures like Avocado.
- Place the balls into the skillet. You may need to do them in batches to avoid overcrowding. Brown each side, approximately 3-5 minutes per.
- Serve hot!
