You can eat it right away for a decent sandwich, but the secret is marinating for at least one night. The quality of balsamic and olive oil are important in this uncooked sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces canned tuna in water
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 35 ounces onion (chopped)
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 2 slices tomato (optional)
  • 1 handful leafy greens (optional)

Instructions

Ope the tuna cans and drain the water.

Optionally feed your cat.

Put the tuna in a bowl or Tupperware container, along with the olive oil, balsamic, and oregano.

Optionally let marinate over night.

Spread the mixture on bread and top with tomato and onion slices and leafy greens. Add another slice of bread to complete the sandwich. Also works great as a sub.
