Fresh Basil Pesto
This recipe is fast and easy. No baking required to have pesto with full flavor. This recipe is also very flexible. A bit more or less of the cheese, basil, nuts or lemon juice won't ruin the recipe, you may find you like it more. I do recommend you keep the ingredients higher quality. Fresh basil is a must and you'll notice the difference between good or bad olive oil.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Basil
- 0.75 cups Parmesan cheese
- 0.5 cups Olive oil
- 0.5 cups Pine nuts
- 2 cloves Raw garlic
- 0.13 cups Lemon juice
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients a blender or food processor.
- Blend for a minute. You will likely have to pause in the middle to push down any ingredients that are stuck on the walls.
